BEST LED TV 2010

Ther are MAJOR changes comong the the LED tv market in 2010!  EVERYTHING IS GOING WIRELESS!  Say good bye to all those messy cables.  The two makers that are currently Wifi equiped are LG and Samsung.  LG led tvs are slightly cheaper, but get rave reviews from customers.  Samsung has of course been a leader in the HDTV marketplace for years.

When you are looking for the best LED tv of 2010, you really need to consider purchasing a backlit LED tv. There are two types of LED televisions:

Backlit and sidelit.

As the names imply, a backlit LED tv has the light source from the light emitting diodes coming from directly behind the screen. This is the optimal for the best picture.  A sidelit LED tv has the light source coming from the side of the flat panel.  It still produces a good picture, but is not top of the line. 

Samsung UN55B8000         

This 55 inch LED tv is one of the most user-friendly HDTV that is made with its very low power usage. Technical specs include a 240 hz refresh rate and a 3,000,000:1 contrast ratio. A very nice unit. List price is $3,799

SONY KDL-55XBR8         

This 55 inch LED tv is one of the best Sony makes. It is a little more expensive because of the Sony name tag. It has a refresh rate of 120 Hz and a contrast ratio of 1,000,000:1 . List price for the unit is $4,999.

LG 55LH90           

This is a very fine 55 inch LED tv. You will find the price to be a bit lower than the Samsung or the Sony unit. The LG LED tv has a 240Hz refresh rate and a contrast ratio of 2,000,000:1 . And the list price of the LG is $3,499.

VIZIO VF551XVT  

The Vizio 55 inch LED tv is the most reasonable priced at $1900. It has a refresh rate of 240HZ and a contrast ratio of 2,000,000 to 1. A very nice LED tv in my opinion.
